Monday Evening: IJ river cruise

After the welcome reception of the IASS2015 symposium, a special event will be organised for young engineers and engineers who still feel young at heart.

Come and join us on Monday evening for a cruise on the IJ river with the riverboat Boot 1. While aboard, you can socialise or network, all while having a unique view on the waterfront of Amsterdam. As the sun will set during the cruise, you’ll be able to enjoy the skyline in daylight, at night and during sunset.

A first drink and typical Dutch snacks will be provided, so that you can spend a relaxing evening after a busy day attending the technical programme. Make sure you don’t miss out on this extraordinary experience!

We’ll depart together from the Muziekgebouw conference venue at 20h30. The end of the boat tour is foreseen at 23h00. The Young Engineers event is included in the conference fee for all Arup has been so kind to financially support. Supplementary drinks will be available for purchase on board.
