Technical Tour Arnhem Central, A Public Transportation Terminal

On August 21st, 2015 an optional technical tour is hosted to one of latest shell structures in the world: UNStudio’s Arnhem Central station.

Introduction

Arnhem Central is a large urban development composed of diverse elements which together constitutes a vibrant transport hub containing offices, shopping areas, cinema complex and multi-modal public transportation facilities, railway platform canopies and platform underpass, a car tunnel. Bicycle storage, a large underground parking garage and several pedestrian/bike bridges and a rail bridge. This complex project is developed over a period of almost two decades.

10.00 hrs Reception at ARCADIS offices, coffee

10.15 hrs Introduction to the site of Arnhem Central

12.00 hrs Closing site visit at Arcadis offices
